Anietie is currently a 2nd-Year MFA Candidate in Painting and Printmaking at Yale School of Art, New Haven, Connecticut.
He is primarily concerned with transforming the affective and embodied experience of diasporic identity into a physical, material space.
He views art as a product of the archive, pursuing a range of human life in a pictorial geography. And finds memory and process to be sources for production where representations of Blackness are ongoing and infinite.
